Colossal Lash Mascara by Maybelline review

This mascara is a must have to achieve long eloquent eyelashes. The mascara pros outweigh the cons so therefore I am rating Colossal a 4.8/5.


My favorable view:

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. Let me first start off with the Pros of this mascara. The first application of mascara that you apply on bare lashes greatly lengthens and coats your lashes. You will see a definite dramatic effect on your lashes due to the brush type and the formula. The large brush fans your lashes out to prevent clumping. Therefore it separates the lashes giving them a feather like desirable appearance. Colossal Lash Mascara not only lengthens lashes greatly, but it also gives your lashes volume. In addition, I did not notice any smudging and it washes off with ease. I would say that Colossal is more of a dramatic night time mascara, but you can definitely wear this in daytime if you like intense eyelashes. This mascara is a win-win, and for only about $7.50 you have nothing to lose! Not so favorable:

The brush on this mascara is larger than some of the other popular mascaras so getting to those short eyelashes in the inside corner of your eye might be a little tough. The other con is that after excessive applications of this mascara you lashes start to clump together. Another con is that it flakes after a couple of days of use.
